Large span coal shed space frame is a widely adopted bolt-ball space structure for coal mines, thermal power plants, coking plants and port coal storage yards.
Open-air coal stockpiling causes serious dust pollution and material loss. Fully enclosed coal shed space frame provides huge column-free clear span to cover large coal storage area of tens of thousands square meters.
We adopt bolt-ball joint space frame system. Our factory prefabricates all steel members and ball nodes. Workers assemble them on site, which minimizes on-site welding and greatly shortens construction time. Engineers calculate the whole structure for wind resistance, seismic resistance and snow load, so it stays stable under harsh weather conditions. We hot-dip galvanize all steel components for anti-corrosion. This treatment adapts the structure to high-dust, humid and corrosive mining environment and delivers long service life and low maintenance cost.
The column-free large interior space allows free operation of stacker, reclaimer and heavy loaders without interrupting coal handling production. Multiple shapes including arch, curved and polygonal profile are available. We can integrate daylight strips, ventilation openings and dust removal ports to meet environmental protection standards.
